Early Spring Wildflowers at Carderock

It is a late spring they say, and I agree, although I feel this way every single year. By next week many more of the flowers that these leaves are energizing will be in bloom. I happen to enjoy the leafy part of their lives quite a lot too. This was an ANS trip and a big thank you to Marnie, President of the Maryland Native Plant Society, for leading us! Photos from Friday 4/10 in the morning.
